The piece "ChaoSphere" represents an imaginary dimension in which the energies of the cosmos are unleashed producing complex equilibria and catastrophes. The piece is inspired by a concept of nature as a balance between order and disorder.
The form has been realized with a flow of thought even though there are obvious sections characterized by its own sound morphologies. Writing is linear and is articulated in several episodes featuring novelty elements that accompany common structural elements.
It starts from a Chaos situation until crystallization in iterative structures that emerge gradually and act as a skeleton for the episodes.
To produce sound materials, sound design sessions were performed using a collection of proprietary processors with Max for Live and Csound. Many sounds come from recordings of everyday life objects beating and rubbing in order to get initial morphologies of interest. These morphologies were later processed creatively to obtain derivatives.
